Some netizens speculate that the I’m A Celebrity winner would be a tough competition for the Perfect vocalist. However, Metro confirmed that Zara’s former and current love interest are playing on the England team.

Even before the Love Island star and Louis’ relationship wasn’t confirmed, fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to discuss the potential tensions, with one saying, “if the Louis x Zara rumours are true that’s gonna make for an awkward af soccer aid looool.”

Additionally, fans’ concerns about the 33-year-old singer and Sam’s on-field encounter were further fueled after a source told the news outlet how “hurt” Sam was following the cosy pictures of Louis and the Made in Chelsea beauty, seemingly smitten with each other on a day out in Suffolk.

“Sam is hurting after seeing the photos of Zara and Louis on a date,” they revealed. “He’s been dealing with the heartbreak of his split from Zara – it’s only been a few months and they were together for five years as well as living together.”

LOUIS Tomlinson has been seen in public for the first time since his dates with Zara McDermott.

The Tomlinsons had a swanky do in the Peak District at the weekend, and the birthday girls have now shared snaps from the event.

One pic showed the siblings together, with a smiling Louis wearing a black sleeveless top and jeans.

The twins wore glam mini dresses and held cocktail glasses, while makeup artist Lottie wore a little black dress and suede boots.

Daisy wrote tonight: “Still dreaming about my birthday weekend thank you to my amazing brother for making me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Blessed beyond measure.”

Phoebe posted: “I feel like same way about my birthday every year, and it’s just how unbelievably grateful I am for the people I have around me and just how lucky I am that people want to celebrate me, write me beautiful cards and buy me lovely gifts. It’s just such a fulfilling feeling that I’ll never get over.”

Last week Louis, 33, took Love Island Zara, 28, to a hotel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, where a fellow diner snapped them enjoying a romantic meal.

Louis and Zara were earlier seen giggling and holding hands while they dined on £100 fish and chips plus cocktails.

One onlooker said: “They looked every bit the happy couple.”

Insiders said the pair have been talking for a while and enjoyed a handful of low-key dates over the past few weeks.

A source added: “Louis whisked Zara away for a break in Suffolk and he absolutely charmed her.

“It’s clear he thinks she’s drop-dead gorgeous too.

“Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara.

“He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special. They share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families.

“Louis is very protective over his sisters and Zara is the same with her younger brother Brad.

“For now they’re taking things slowly and enjoying each other’s company to see where it takes them.”

Louis, who sold more than 70million records worldwide with Up All Night hit­makers One Direction, was also seen chatting to fans who stopped to speak to him in the seaside town.

Zara has been single since December after her five-year romance with 2023 I’m A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson fizzled out.

The pair spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve apart and their break-up was made public weeks later.

Louis, who has a nine-year-old son from his relationship with stylist Briana Jungwirth, has been single for a number of months.

His longest relationship was with influencer Eleanor Calder, who he dated on and off for five years until 2023.
