Tim McGraw recently returned to the stage after taking nearly a year off due to a myriad of health issues, and it looks like the country music star still is not 100-percent.

According to multiple reports, the 58-year-old singer has had to pull out of his upcoming performance at the Colorado State and Professional Bull Riders Last Cowboy Standing event slated for July 21. Colorado State announced that McGraw “has been forced to cancel his Fort Collins performance due to a recent back surgery.”

McGraw recently opened up about his health struggles in an appearance on the “Tracy Lawrence’s Road House” podcast.

“To have almost a year of just sitting there (doing nothing), and I can tell you that after double knee replacements and three back surgeries and now a torn rotator cuff and a ruptured disc, there were times this year that I thought this might be it,” he said. “This might be time to hang it up.”

It is unclear if McGraw has had to have a fourth back surgery or if an issue from one of his previous back surgeries has caused him to have to pull out of the event.

McGraw said the injuries have changed the way he does his show.

“It’s gonna come to a point to where I’m either gonna have to decide to change the way I do a live show to continue to do it or just not do it anymore,” he said.

McGraw already had issues with his feet, telling Entertainment Tonight Canada in 2023 that he “can’t run anymore because I’ve broken my foot so many times.”
