Eric Andre Says Madonna Slid in His DMs But He’s ‘Too Intimidated’ to Date Her

Eric Andre may have blown his chance with Madonna. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 7, the comedian revealed that the iconic singer once slid into his DMs — but he didn’t have the guts to pursue her.

“Madonna has a bit of a crush on me,” Andre said, explaining that the message came after he mooned the crowd during Madonna’s performance of “Vogue” at one of her Celebration Tour shows in Los Angeles last March. The singer apparently found the stunt amusing and put out feelers with Andre.

“Not to brag, [but] she slid in my DMs,” Andre said, hyping the moment by exposing one of his nipples and licking his lips. He claimed he didn’t want to put Madonna on “front street” (incredibly too late) but said there was definitely “a little bit of chemistry” and flirty vibes between them. However, in a rare moment of prudishness, Andre said he hasn’t tried to take things further with Madonna because he is “way too intimidated” by her. “That’s the queen of pop,” he said. “You can’t just waltz in there and start schtooping Madonna. You’ve gotta come in there with roses, you’ve gotta play Boyz II Men, you gotta drip chocolate candles… she needs to be romanced… She slept with 2Pac and Basquiat – you’ve gotta bring your A-game.”

However, after a bit of prodding from Kimmel, Andre approached the situation in a much more Eric-Andre way: “Fuck it! Tonight, I will guarantee this audience, I will have sex with Madonna on this table! While Jimmy watches!”
