This comes amid reports that Olivia finds Zoë’s romance with Harry “super awkward.”

October 18 marked the 5th annual Academy Museum Gala, and everyone from Charli xcx to Hailey Bieber to Selena Gomez was there to celebrate. Afterwards, several of the stars took to Armani’s after-party at Chateau Marmont, and Vanity Fair posted some exclusive pics from the event on Instagram, including a stunning shot of Zoë Kravitz…which just happened to possibly include her maybe-boyfriend Harry Styles’ ex, Olivia Wilde, in the background.

To make things more awkward: Zoë’s stylist, Danielle Goldberg, proceeded to share said photo on her Instagram Story, crediting YSL for the dress…and seemingly editing Olivia from the pic. But here’s the thing: Her stylist seemingly edited everyone out of the background, not just Olivia (who appears to be the blonde facing away on the right, based on her look from earlier in the night). However! I remain unconvinced that any shade was intended. Chances are the stylist was just trying to make the dress pop by removing background distractions, no?

When dating rumors about Zoë and Harry first started circulating a few months earlier, a source for the Daily Mail claimed Olivia (who’s currently rumored to be dating Ellie Goulding’s ex-husband, Caspar Jopling) was “surprised” by the new relationship.

“It’s like, why her? Why does he have to date people she knows?” they continued. “It’s super awkward for her.”

That said, a second source also weighed in, claiming, “Olivia thought that pairing was interesting, but she doesn’t really give a crap because she and Harry dated so long ago. I mean, they broke up three years ago.”

As a reminder: Harry and Olivia became an item not long after it was announced he’d been cast in her film Don’t Worry Darling, soft-launching their ’ship at a wedding in January 2021. The pair continued to date for nearly two years before going their separate ways in November 2022, with a source telling People, “He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A. It’s a very amicable decision.”

Harry and Zoë, meanwhile, have been a rumored item since late August but have yet to confirm their relationship status. The two were most recently spotted in NYC on October 16 leaving a recording studio together, sparking rumors about a possible music collab.
