“That’s a One-Of-A-Kind Item”: Chris Stapleton “Stole Our Hearts” With This Career-First Onstage Moment

Live Review: Chris Stapleton @ Rod Laver Arena

Chris Stapleton just gave one kid a memory they’ll never forget. During his June 20 concert in Albany, New York, Stapleton took the time to sign a fan’s yearbook while on the stage.

“This is for Lila,” he told the crowd, as he propped the yearbook up against his guitar and started writing in it.

When he completed his message, Stapleton turned the yearbook around so the crowd could see what he wrote.

“It says, ‘To Lila, Remember that time I signed your yearbook!’”

He proceeded to pass the yearbook back into the crowd.

“That’s the first time I’ve ever signed a yearbook at a concert,” he said. “That’s a one-of-a-kind item.”

Local radio station WGNAFM posted video of the sweet moment on Instagram.

Following the show, Stapleton took to Instagram to share photos from the concert. Fans were full of praise in the comments section, with one writing that Stapleton “stole our hearts” when he signed the yearbook.”

Chris Stapleton’s Currently on the Road

Stapleton is currently on his All-American Roadshow Tour.

Earlier this month, fans in Greenville, South Carolina, were left disappointed when their show was rescheduled after “critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville.”

The concert was moved to July 9.

“We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused,” Stapleton wrote.

Despite the snafu, the tour isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Next up, Stapleton is scheduled to play two nights at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Currently, he has shows scheduled through October, when he’s set to play two nights at Hollywood’s Hard Rock Live.

In addition to his tour, Stapleton is booked to play at the Harley Davidson Homecoming Festival on July 12, Healing Appalachia on Sept. 19, Boots on the Bayou on Nov. 1, and Gulf Coast Jam on May 29, 2026.
