Charlize Theron has reportedly been banned from Jeff Bezos-related events after she took a dig at his and Lauren Sanchez’s lavish Venetian wedding. The newlyweds’ extravagant ceremony became the talk of the town last week. Many A-list guests, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Ivanka Trump, the Kardashian-Jenner family, and more, were invited. However, Theron criticized the grand ceremony, which reportedly left Bezos “livid.”

Charlize Theron has reportedly irked Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez for throwing shade at their estimated $50 million Italian wedding. At the fifth annual Block Party of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, the Oscar-winner quipped that she was fine with not getting invited to the nuptials.

“That’s okay because they suck and we’re cool,” she joked. The actress slyly ridiculed the Amazon founder for spending millions and disrupting the daily life of locals for his wedding. While she received a positive response from the crowd and netizens, the newly married couple is not as happy. According to Rob Shuter, sources claim that Bezos was “livid.”

Furthermore, Sanchez allegedly almost took to her Instagram to fire off at the actor, but was stopped from doing so. Now, Theron has supposedly been banned from anything related to the couple and their events, including Blue Origin launches, yacht weekends, and charity galas. Apart from the Academy Award-winner, several celebrities shared similar views.

Talk show host Rosie O’Donnell posted on Instagram: “The Bezos’ wedding. It turned my stomach seeing all these billionaires gathering in the gross excess of it all. The show of it.” Some took a dig at Sanchez’s wedding outfit, calling the Dolce & Gabbana piece “tacky” and “conspicuous consumption.”

Bezos and Sanchez tied the knot on June 27 in the presence of several A-list attendees. Leonardo DiCaprio, Vittoria Ceretti, Orlando Bloom, Sydney Sweeney, Ivanka Trump, and Tom Brady were some of the guests. Kris Jenner and her daughters — Kim, Khloe, Kylie, and Kendall — also graced the three-day wedding festivities.
