Camera Catches Morgan Wallen’s Last Words Before Abrupt ‘SNL’ Exit; Country Star Reportedly Turned Down Sketch Appearance

Morgan Wallen Pledged $500K to Black-Led Groups. Where'd It Go?

The biggest news this week in the entertainment world is undeniably about Morgan Wallen’s appearance on SNL. Ever since the episode broadcasted on Saturday, March 29, and the millions upon millions of viewers saw him abruptly exit, the world has been creating a big old pot of gossip. However, no source has confirmed why exactly Wallen exited early.

When the live taping of SNL concluded, the cameras did what they always do—Focus on the celebrities and their triumphant attitudes. Wallen did not extensively participate in conversing with cast members after the fact. Rather, he simply waltzed off the stage with little to be said. This is where all the gossip resides, as many believe there is bad blood between Morgan Wallen and SNL.

Both Wallen’s team and SNL cast members have spoken on the matter. Though, still, a clear answer as to what was said and why it was said remains unclear. Regarding Wallen, a close source told TMZ, “We’re told he entered and exited the studio the same way he did Saturday night during rehearsal and camera blocking all week leading up to the live show… so he routinely headed that way when he thought it was time to go.”

Nonetheless, the masses are still curious as to what Morgan Wallen said prior to his exit and what motives were behind it. Well, there is seemingly an answer to what Wallen said, but still, not the why.

Morgan Wallen’s Alleged Comments

Morgan Wallen Sentenced to 7 Days Incarceration for Chair-Throwing Incident

Many of the masses believe Wallen’s alleged antipathy with the show is due to his refusal to participate in a sketch. A sketch that would later feature Jonas Brothers member Joe Jonas, according to People.

Concerning the comments, UNILAD spoke with lip reader Nicola Hicking of Slingo, and she divulged what she believes Wallen told Mikey Madison prior to his exit. According to the source, Wallen told Madison, “Thank you all so much, I had a wonderful time thank you all mwah mwah mwah.” Madison replied, “Chatting to you was really good.” Also, Colin Jost reportedly said, “You gotta remember how he is feeling,” according to Hicking.

Even though this is all new information with a new perspective, it’s worth taking the whole saga with a grain of salt. It’s hard to believe Wallen’s walk-off was meant to be as malicious as the rumor mill is painting it.
