However, “privately they hope their relationship is just a passing phase for him.”

Chalamet is reportedly aware of his family’s opinion on his relationship with Jenner. The insider claimed the disapproval has turned out to be a “huge roadblock to the chance” the pair will “ever get hitched.” The rift reportedly stems from a “clash of worlds.” A source also told the outlet that the 27-year-old has been “patient.” The socialite reportedly knows that “families need time to warm up.”

However, according to the insider, after two years of their relationship, the “distance is painful” for Jenner. The RadarOnline report also claimed that the reality television personality “doesn’t expect to be invited” to Chalamet’s family events. The source added that the Kylie Cosmetics founder still “would appreciate the chance to mingle now and then.”

The insider further alleged that Chalamet and Jenner’s “chances of a ‘happily ever after’ seem doomed.” There is reportedly tension due to a “family rift that is basically unfixable.” The source also said that the couple’s families are “just from different worlds.” They added that the families have “totally different viewpoints.”
