After keeping her private life secret for a long time, Grimes unexpectedly revealed some special details about her three children with Elon Musk, amidst ongoing tensions over child custody.

The singer posted a status update on the X platform on January 23rd, expressing her pride in her three children with Elon Musk: two sons, X AE A-XII, 5 years old, and Techno Mechanicus, 3 years old, and a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, 4 years old.

“I always try not to talk about or post pictures of my children because they deserve the right to anonymity, but I have to say their ‘aura’ is truly unique,” Grimes wrote. She also surprised fans by revealing that one of the three children had “inexplicably been able to control a flock of crows for a period of time.”

Grimes admitted she might be biased towards her children, but said that possibility was “really unusual.” When a fan commented that this was “very typical Grimes,” the singer responded that her father once had a similar “flock of loyal crows.”

Grimes completely agrees with the opinion that parents shouldn’t publicly share their children on social media. She says she only occasionally shares everyday moments and absolutely does not use her children’s images to gain attention.

When asked about allowing her children to use electronic devices, Grimes said it was a point of contention between her and Elon Musk. “The other parent is more relaxed, but I try to limit it. If we do use it, we prioritize artistic, lighthearted content that doesn’t change too quickly,” she said.

Grimes and Elon Musk had an on-and-off relationship from 2018 to 2022. After their split, they became embroiled in a tense custody battle, with Grimes accusing the tech billionaire of preventing her from seeing one of their children.

However, the singer insisted she wasn’t interested in the public騒動. “My only priority is co-parenting my children. I’m not interested in following or unfollowing anyone. It’s ridiculous,” Grimes said.

Elon Musk currently has a total of 14 children with four different women.
