First, she led The Benjamin School’s girls’ soccer team to a state championship, scoring the winning goal as a central defender. Then, she helped the track and field team capture the FHSAA Class 1A state title.

The MaxPreps Cup is no ordinary trophy. It’s an exclusive distinction that honors schools with exceptional athletic programs throughout an entire season. The award takes into account state championships, runner-up finishes, national rankings, and overall performance across all sports.

In that sense, The Benjamin School had a remarkable year. In addition to the girls’ soccer and track and field victories, its boys’ soccer team was ranked No. 19 in the country. During the fall season, the boys’ golf team-featuring Sam’s brother, Charlie Woods-also shined, finishing as state runners-up.

With such an impressive, Sam’s next step seems natural. In March, Tiger Woods confirmed that his daughter would be attending Stanford University in the fall-following in her father’s footsteps, though clearly forging her own path.

“She really liked the campus, so everything’s going well,” Tiger shared in an interview. While he’s remained more reserved about Sam’s meteoric rise, he has been a vocal supporter of his son Charlie’s journey as a junior golfer.
