Utah Woman Arrested For The Fifth Time This Year For Stalking Post Malone, Finally Being Held Without Bail

There’s a fine line between super fan and stalker.

Post Malone has been quite busy the last couple of years. He switched gears, went country and released his highly successful  F-1 Trillion record in late 2024, and just recently opened up his very own downtown Nashville bar Posty’s in 2025, around the same time he celebrated his 30th birthday. As you can see, lots of fun, milestone moments for Post Malone as of late.

Then there’s a not so fun thing… he’s been dealing with a seemingly relentless stalker.

One woman by the name of Cherish Gomer has repeatedly done the crime and done the time in 2025. She’s been arrested and pleaded guilty to stalking Post Malone four separate times this year, and she was just arrested on August 4 for the fifth time for doing the same exact thing.

The 32-year-old’s four previous bookings of all been similar in nature. She was first arrested in late January for walking onto the musicians Utah property through a gate that was left open by a worker. That time, Gomer was charged with criminal trespassing.

All of the times after (Feb 1, Feb 10 and July 27) she was booked with misdemeanor charges of stalking… except for this latest arrest. According to court documents, Cherish Gomer was arrested this time (August 4) for suspicion of stalking, and a Violation of a Permanent Criminal Stalking Injunction. For those that don’t know, both of those charges are 3rd-degree felonies.

This latest booking allegedly stemmed from the stalker running out in front of Post Malone’s vehicle as he was trying to leave his Utah home. Cherish Gomer has been known to walk up to the driveway that leads to Malone’s property, but it’s believed this is the first time she’s tried to… well, quite literally throw herself at the “I Had Some Help” singer.

The good news for Post Malone is that Gomer was booked early on August 4 and was ordered to be held without bail. Seems like you would do that after… I don’t know, the third time she was caught stalking the pop/country star. A three-strike stalking system perhaps?

Considering the entirety of that mess, the rumors that Post Malone is moving out of Utah and erecting a massive estate in Idaho make sense. If I were a celebrity, I wouldn’t want to live in a place where my address has been publicly compromised either. Though considering his alleged house in Idaho is going viral before it’s even finished… that’s probably not good for “secrecy,” if that’s what Post Malone is after.

Looks like a beautiful home, and if it Post Malone moving into that house, he better make sure he’s got a state-of-the-art security system around it. Even if it just keeps this one serial stalker from moving across state lines and continuing to creepily stalk him…
