Jake Paul rage-quits Piers Morgan interview after profanity-laced, insult-laden tantrum
Jake Paul wasn’t in the mood to chat.
The Youtuber-turned-boxer sat down for a video interview with Piers Morgan on Thursday ahead of his fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and things got heated quickly.
The “Uncensored With Piers Morgan” host targeted Paul for taking on Mike Tyson last year, who is “nearly as old as me,” and cherry-picking his fights.
“The only proper boxer you’ve fought is Tommy Fury, and he beat you,” Morgan said.
Jake Paul gets increasingly upset with Piers Morgan’s line of questions.
The 28-year-old rebutted by saying he fought “multiple boxers with professional records.”
Morgan added that against “peak Tyson, you wouldn’t have lasted 10 seconds.”
Things quickly devolved with Paul turning to name-calling.
“OK, and you versus the gym?” responded the YouTuber. “You’re still a fata–… You don’t think I can beat Mike Tyson, I don’t think you go to the gym.”

“I’ve been twice this week!” Morgan retorted, who added that he expected Paul to lose to a “proper serious” boxer in Chavez.
“I think the problem here, Piers, is that you think your opinion matters,” Paul said. “I’m just taking your audience to sell pay-per-views, I don’t give a f–k about your show, dumbass, this is a f–king business enterprise.”

And with that, Paul rage-quit the interview, causing Morgan to laugh.
“Cheers, Jake. Really enjoyed that,” he said.
How many pay-per-views Paul managed to score for DAZN via the sitdown remains to be seen with the cruiserweight bout scheduled for Saturday night at the Honda Center.

He does view the 39-year-old Chavez as the most challenging fight of his still young career, though.
“I would say Chavez is most likely going to be the toughest opponent (I have faced yet), the most experienced, literally the most amount of fights out of all of my opponents,” Paul told DAZN Boxing.
He enters the fight with an 11-1 professional mark to Chavez’s 54-6-1 (34 KOs) record.
