Tiger Woods Pleads for Privacy After Confirming Romance With Donald Trump Jr.’s Ex

Tiger Woods has pleaded for privacy in a public Instagram post confirming his new relationship with Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife.

Reports surfaced earlier this month that Woods, 49, had been secretly dating Vanessa Trump, 47, after the pair met on Thanksgiving. The Daily Mail was the first to report the relationship.

“Tiger and Vanessa have been seeing each other since just before Thanksgiving,” an unnamed source told the Mail at the time. “She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together. She comes over and spends the night and leaves in the morning. Maybe a few nights a week.”

On Sunday, Woods confirmed the rumors, posting a slideshow of pictures of the pair, including one showing the couple cuddling on a hammock.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together,” Woods wrote. “At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

The post was shared to Vanessa’s Instagram page as a Story, but without comment.

“They just love hanging out, having dinner and schmoozing together,” a source told the Mail of the blossoming new relationship. “They’re sticking close to home, have decided not to make it a thing and go out in public. Not just yet anyway.”

Celebrity commenters on the post included Ivanka Trump, who wrote: “So happy for you both” alongside two heart-eyed smiley face emojis.

Vanessa, who was married to Trump Jr. between 2005 and 2018, is the mother of aspiring golfer Kai Trump, who has become a hit with MAGA fans.

The former couple have five children altogether.

Trump Jr. is reportedly “cool” with the new coupling, a source close to the first son told People.

Tiger, meanwhile, married Swedish model Elin Nordegren in 2004 and the pair divorced six years later in 2010. Woods reportedly told Nordegren of Vanessa in December, according to Page Six.

“It was a pleasant, almost friendly conversation,” a source said. “Her response at first was like ‘Seriously? A Trump? For real?.”

Woods and U.S. President Donald Trump are no strangers. Woods appeared alongside the president during a reception honoring Black History Month at the White House last month.
