Selena Gomez surprised by boyfriend’s bathing habits

In a joint interview with Interview magazine on February 18, Selena Gomez and Benny answered fun questions about their personal lives. When asked who takes long baths, the actor immediately pointed to his boyfriend. He admitted and explained: “I may not take a bath every day, but when I do, I will spend a long time thinking about life. I like to sit down every time I take a bath.”

Benny not only relaxes, but also uses bathing as a way to release emotions. The 36-year-old artist said: “Have you ever cried in the shower? It’s great.” Selena laughed in surprise and then widened her eyes when her boyfriend continued to confess: “I think about dying in the shower and cry a little. Then the emotion passes and I feel great because the water is warm.”

Talking about crying, Benny Blanco said that Selena is the one who cries a lot. She is easily moved by a movie, a song, or an image that brings back memories. Selena nodded and confessed about her “crybaby” side.

Selena and Benny had a photoshoot and interview together to promote their upcoming new album. The album I Said I Love You First, which tells the love story of the couple, will be released on March 21. During the interview, Selena revealed that she liked Benny before the two collaborated together in 2023. Benny said that it was not until the second date that he realized Selena’s feelings and knew they were dating.

The American musician said he started working with Selena in 2013 when he was already famous in the music industry and Selena was just starting out in her singing career. Her mother, Mandy Teefey, was the one who arranged for the two to meet. They worked well together on many music projects but it took 10 years for their relationship to blossom.

Benny Blanco proposed to Selena in December last year after more than a year of dating. TMZ reported that the same month of their engagement, the couple bought a $35 million mansion in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles to make their happy home.
