Miranda Lambert Reflects On 20 Years In Showbiz
2025 marks twenty years since Miranda Lambert released her debut album, Kerosene. The album was released in 2005, two years after she was on Nashville Star. She came in fourth place but caught the attention of a record label at Sony Nashville.
Miranda Lambert became an overnight sensation with the release of her first album. She stayed with the Sony label throughout her career before leaving in early 2023. She signed with Republic Records in April 2024 and released the album Postcards From Texas later that year.
Miranda Lambert recently chatted with Country Living about the span of her career so far.
“I write and sing about what I know; what I have experienced, or what someone I know or someone I heard about is going through. Those stories reflect what most of my fans are dealing with, as well, so it covers all the emotions,” she said.

Miranda Lambert is a songwriter as well as a singer. “As an artist, I want to be open to keep exploring and releasing music that’s maybe unexpected—it’s an important part of my growth and responsibility,” she said about her future albums.
Her Special Way To Bond With Husband Brendan McLoughlin
Miranda Lambert has been touring with Morgan Wallen this summer. She opened up to Country Living about the new hobby she took up to pass the time and bond with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.
“I’ve been learning to play golf this year,” she shares. “My husband loves golf, and it’s been a really fun way for us to spend time together. This summer is pretty busy with touring, so we’ve found time to escape in between shows and go to different courses in the cities we’re in. It’s been a nice way to carve out time together when life is on the go,” she revealed.

The couple faced a scandal last summer when her husband was caught cozying up to another woman in Miranda Lambert’s Nashville bar. The other woman spoke out and said it was a friendly interaction, but rumors continue to follow the couple.
As for what’s next in her career, Miranda Lambert is always writing new songs. “Sometimes, I’m just living my life, so that I have something to write about when I come back to the music. I’ve been writing with some friends in Nashville, too. I always let the music guide where I’m going next, and trust the process,” she shared.
Do you think golf is a good bonding activity for a couple?
