Hulk Hogan’s Ex-Wife Linda Says She Misses Him ‘So Much’ as She Celebrates His 72nd Birthday

Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda Hogan said she misses the late WWE star “so much” as she celebrates what would have been his 72nd birthday in a new tribute on social media.

On Monday, Aug. 11, Linda, 65, posted a throwback photo of herself and her ex-husband, who died at age 71 on July 24.

Linda, who was married to Hulk from 1983-2009, wrote in the caption of her post, “Me and Hulkster .. 1981 Happy Birthday Terry .. I love and miss you so much …”

The photo showed the former couple posing in workout gear, and the photo Linda posted appeared to be a picture of a framed version of the photo.

Five days before Hulk died in Clearwater, Florida, Linda reflected on her relationship with the WWE star and the “good old days” they shared together.

After his death, Linda returned to the throwback photo she shared July 19 and said she “had no idea he would pass away this soon” and that everyone “really thought he would make a comeback.”

Hulk, whose real name was Terrence Gene Bollea, died of acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. He had a history of leukemia, according to medical records obtained by PEOPLE, and atrial fibrillation, a common disorder that causes irregular heart beats.

Hogan’s history of leukemia, a form of cancer that affects white blood cells, was not previously known.

According to the dispatch call on the day of his death, police and medics were called to Hogan’s house in Clearwater Beach, Fla. at 9:51 a.m. for a person suffering cardiac arrest.

First responders attempted to revive Hogan for 30 minutes, according to dispatch audio obtained and reviewed by PEOPLE. He was then taken to a local hospital where he was declared dead.

Earlier this year, Linda said that the family she built with Hulk — including daughter Brooke and son Nick — was fractured and that she was estranged from Brooke, 37.

“It’s been 15-however long years since I left Hulk Hogan, and my family is the worst mess,” Linda said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on March 26.

“Brooke doesn’t talk to us,” she continued. “She had twins, she got married [and] she didn’t tell us,” Linda said, referring to Brooke and Steven Oleksy’s private wedding in 2022 and the birth of their twins, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene, in January 2025.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Oleksy claimed that Hulk had “no interest” in meeting his and Brooke’s twins, who were his only grandchildren.

Linda alleged that Brooke stopped talking to her when she got into a fight with her father about eight years ago. “I don’t know how that reflected onto me but she cut me out too,” she said.
