Lainey Wilson Once Partied So Hard With Ella Langley That Part of Her House Collapsed

Lainey Wilson Sets Record & Winner Highlights: 2025 ACM Awards

The ladies of country music dominated this year’s ACM Awards, with Lainey Wilson repeating as Entertainer of the Year and Ella Langley taking home five trophies. As Langley said on the red carpet, “I really think that women are, we’re here to play ball.” Along with others like Miranda Lambert, Wilson, 33, has seemingly taken the 26-year-old rising star under her wing—even if the “4x4xU” singer did require emergency home repairs after a night with Langley.

During an interview with Taste of Country Nights, host Evan Paul asked the “You Look Like You Love Me” songstress for a question they could play back to Wilson when she appeared on the same podcast later that day.

“Ask her if she has fixed that one deck,” Langley quipped. (Now we’re curious.)

Fortunately, Wilson arrived later to answer the question (after she stopped laughing.)

“So…one night, she came over here, it was her and her publicist,” said the “Somewhere Over Laredo” singer.

From there, a night of laughter and drinking ensued—which, apparently, culminated in Wilson’s deck collapsing with the three women standing on it. Although Langley’s publicist hit the ground, fortunately no one was injured. However, the answer is no—Wilson has not yet had the deck repaired.

Lainey Wilson Just Presented Her “Redneck Sister” Ella Langley With Another Award

Fresh off their dominant night at the ACM Awards, Lainey Wilson recently presented Ella Langley with another trophy for her case. The “Weren’t For the Wind” singer received the Rising Star award at Billboard’s Country Power Players 2025 event.

Singing Langley’s praises, the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer said she recognized that fire within her as soon as they met.

“She had this spark and this go-getter attitude that I was drawn to, and the kind of attitude that it takes for anybody in this business to do it,” said the Louisiana native. “And before I even heard her sing, I knew she was pretty special. She’s the kind that just jumps in headfirst and gives it 190 percent. It don’t matter what it is.

Continuing, Wilson added, “There’s no doubt that she has already made her mark in this industry, and she ain’t going anywhere. She’s got the guts and the grits to be here as long as she wants to be.”
