Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman’s Daughter Shares Their “Two Big Rules,” Including One She “Hated”

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s Oldest Daughter Sunday Rose Shares Their Biggest Parenting Rules
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s eldest daughter, Sunday Rose, is starting to chase her own dreams while balancing her famous family life.
Sunday, 17, and her younger sister, Faith Margaret, 14, had mostly private childhoods as their parents aimed to keep them away from the spotlight. Still, the girls occasionally appeared with their parents and even made cameos in Nicole’s hit show Big Little Lies.

From Private Childhood to Public Appearances
Now that Sunday and Faith are teenagers, they’ve begun to make more public appearances. Notably, they walked the red carpet in 2024 when Nicole received the AFI Life Achievement Award.
Sunday is also slowly stepping into the entertainment world, showing a particular interest in modeling. Recently, she landed her first magazine cover for NYLON magazine, where she spoke about growing up with famous parents and revealed the “two big rules” they set for her.
The Two Big Rules From Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman
The first rule was that Sunday couldn’t start modeling until she turned 16.
“I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16,” she said.
The second, and most important rule was that school always comes first. Although she initially “hated” this rule, Sunday now appreciates it:
“I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset.”
Sunday’s Future Plans and Filmmaking Dreams
Sunday plans to attend college, hoping to study filmmaking — a dream she’s had since she was five years old.
“I have several interests that I am interested in exploring in college. Filmmaking has actually been my dream career since I was 5, so I hope I’m able to study that in college.”
Sunday Rose’s Modeling Debut
Sunday made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week 2024, walking for Miu Miu in a white outfit with knee-high socks and open-toe shoes.
She told NYLON about her love for fashion:
“Something I’ve always loved about fashion is that every brand is so different. Watching the shows, you can see how each designer expresses themselves in a different way through their collections.”
Growing up, Sunday often attended her mother Nicole’s photo shoots, which inspired her interest in modeling. She jokingly calls Nicole’s closet her “favorite store.”
Faith Margaret’s Rising Interest in Modeling
Sunday’s younger sister, Faith, has also shown interest in modeling and recently appeared in an advertisement with Nicole for the Japanese luxury beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté.
What’s Next for the Urban-Kidman Sisters?
With both sisters exploring their passions, fans are eager to see what the future holds for Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
