When asked about being a role model, Daly jokingly advises anyone looking up to him to do the opposite, saying, “If you look at me as a role model, if you do the opposite of John Daly, you’re going to do really well in life.”

In fact, DeChambeau has only achieved a score under 50 once in his “Break 50” series, and that was with NFL quarterback Tony Romo, where they scored 22 under 50 at Maridoe Golf Club.
