Country Fans Swoon As Riley Green Helps Ella Langley Down The Stairs During “You Look Like You Love Me”

Some country music fans are not giving up hope that Riley Green and Ella Langley will end up together one day. And I can’t blame them. Seeing them on stage together feeds our fantasies that they might be a love match.

The “You Look Like You Love Me” singers are back on stage together as Ella Langley is Riley Green’s direct support throughout his Damn Country Music Tour. The tour has a few shows under their belt, and fans are loving seeing Green and Langley back together on stage, but they are still not fully convinced there isn’t something going on.

Even though they both have made it very clear they are just friends, fans are still holding out hope. During night two of the Damn Country Music Tour, the duo had fans swooning as Riley Green helped Ella Langley down the steps during the introduction of “You Look Like You Love Me.” Many of the show’s attendees in Kelowna, BC, quickly took to social media to share the moment, which then turned into many fans leaving comments about how chivalry is not dead.

As the intro to the song started, Ella Langley appeared at the top of the stage risers, and Riley Green made his way to meet the leading woman of the hit single. After she said the first few lines, she grabbed his hand as Green offered his support to her, making her way down the steps.

After reaching the first break in the steps, Green went down the bottom of the steps, extending his arm to her for support. As Langley gracefully takes his hand again, she has a super model moment, making her way down to center stage while singing their CMA Award-winning duet.

But let’s give Riley some credit here, too, outside of hoping it’s a romantic connection.

Riley Green is a true Southern gentleman whose momma raised him right. I am sure he would have done this for any woman he shared the stage with. He doesn’t want Langley to trip and fall.

But since we are in the thick of hoping these two are secretly in love, fans quickly commented, noting how much chemistry they have.

“How he holds her hand down the steps 🥹 They are both so unbelievable 😍”

“Their children would be out of this world gorgeous 😩”

“I want them together so bad.”

“I literally would fall in love with them both with that look they gave each other. I don’t care if it’s only for show purposes, they are together in my mind 🥰🤣”

“It’s giving good ‘bed chem!’”

Unfortunately for fans, Riley Green has spoken about how they play into their “love” for each other during this song on stage. When he sat down with Nick Viall, after saying Langley was “too smart” to date him, he did say they play into the song to feed country fans’ fantasies.

I mean it’s a genius marketing move, and just like Green said in this interview, we’ve seen it work for stars like Tammy Wynette and George Jones in the past.

“Yeah, I mean, Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway. But I think that’s kind of the country music fan, like, they love the Tim McGraw and Faith, and the George and Tammy. And when we fist started having the success we did with that song, I kinda told Ella, I was like, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of things said, but I mean, you don’t really have to play into it or not play into it, its gonna be something people enjoy the same way we do when we go listen to those songs.’

It’s cool to have that one and have that moment onstage with her every night. The title track to my album is called ‘Don’t Mind If I Do,’ and that’s a really big song, so it’s cool to have that one with her, and that’s a completely different type of song.”
