“I Would Like To Have Sex This Year” – Brianna Chickenfry Says She Has “Sexual Trauma” From Her Relationship With Zach Bryan

Finally ready to move on, eh?

Brianna Chickenfry (whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia) is ready to jump back into dating (and into the bedroom) this year after her breakup with Zach Bryan back in 2024.

Of course Zach has clearly already moved on: The country superstar married his girlfriend Samantha Leonard in Spain over New Years, after months of speculation that they were engaged or even already married.

Bryan and Leonard’s relationship went public around August of 2025, and Zach actually fueled those marriage rumors himself when he posted a video of he, Leonard and some friends paragliding in Europe. Fans quickly spotted a gold band on the singer’s ring finger, and interestingly enough, Bryan deleted the video shortly after it was posted. He then replaced the video with another, only this time, a bald eagle emoji was covering up his left hand.

For her part though, Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry still hasn’t been able to move on, after speaking out on what she says was a pattern of emotional abuse from the country singer during their yearlong-plus relationship.

On the most recent episode of her Plan Bri podcast though, Brianna spoke about her goals for 2026 – which apparently include having more sex:

“I would like to have sex this year. I would like to not be traumatized by it anymore. I have a lot of sexual trauma from my last relationship.”

Brianna says that because of her relationship with Bryan, she’s been afraid to open herself up to climbing into bed with other guys:

“There are so many things that I haven’t opened up or talked about yet because I’m not ready, but I feel like, like I said, like I’m shedding that skin and kind of stepping out of it. It has defined me this past year where I am so terrified of having sex. I am so terrified of giving someone the rights to my body because I feel like then they will have control over me.”

But apparently, she’s finally ready to move on in 2026:

“This year want to be able to have sex without looking at it as a negative thing or something that will be used against me. And it’s just an intention. That doesn’t mean I’m going to go out and bust the p—y wide open on Broadway, but it does mean that when I am attracted to someone and they are attracted to me…”

And she says that her celibacy over the past year hasn’t been because of a lack of opportunity:

“There have been so many guys – not so many. I’m acting like, ‘Oh my God, I’m Kim K, everyone wants to f— me,’ but there have been a handful of guys that I wanted to have sex with and they wanted to have sex with me.

And I couldn’t get myself to do it because I viewed sex as this like horrible thing, something that would have control over me, something that isn’t normal, something that isn’t what I should be doing. I looked at it as a negative thing. I do not want to view it as a negative thing. I want to get f—ing cracked this year.”
