Blake Shelton had an important message to share in a new video from his Oklahoma ranch he shares with wife Gwen Stefani, asking fans to keep an eye out for his pet duck that got lost after a major storm blew through the area.

On April 8, Shelton shared a video on Instagram captioned, “If yall see a duck in eastern Oklahoma or Arkansas that answers to the name ‘Trace Adkins Is An Asshole’ please return him. Long name I know.. #kubota #kubotapartner.”

In the clip, Shelton stood on his property in front of a small structure, saying, “Okay everybody…we had some super high winds here in Oklahoma last week, and believe it or not, that is an upside down duck house that I had for my ol’ pet duck that used to sit down there at the edge of the water, for ol’ duck to get in.” He pointed toward the body of water in the distance.

“The storm hit and blew it all the way up here. I don’t have a clue where the duck ended up, but that’s Oklahoma weather for you,” he concluded, before breaking into song with an improvised tune about his Kubota tractor and missing pet duck.

Shelton didn’t seem too stressed about his missing duck, keeping a positive attitude throughout the video. He ended the clip by saying that he planned to use his tractor to drag the duck house back to the water.

Fans shared hopes that the duck returns soon, with comments like, “Hope your feathered friend waddles back soon,” “Oh that weather is nasty but I’m hoping your duck 🦆 will come back home,” and “That ending .. 😂🦆💨!! (I do hope he turns up safe and sound).”

Another joked, “NOT THE PET DUCK?! 🦆 I believe it will come back after hearing this beautiful song.” Other fans shared appreciation for Shelton’s sense of humor and noted that they were glad to know he was safe after the storm.
