Benny Blanco Reveals He Wears Selena Gomez’s Perfume to Feel Closer to Her

Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez are keeping the romance alive — one spritz at a time.

In a TikTok video shared August 5, Blanco revealed that when he and Gomez are apart, he wears her perfume “all over” to feel closer to her. The sweet moment came as the couple discussed the latest launch from Gomez’s beauty brand, Rare Beauty.

“I spray [the perfume] all over me so I can remind myself of her,” Blanco said, making Gomez smile and laugh. “So cheesy,” she responded playfully.

The video comes just months after the couple announced their engagement in December 2024. Blanco, 37, and Gomez, 33, have been together since July 2023.

The new Rare Beauty fragrance collection, which includes a warm and layered eau de parfum, launched on the Sephora app on August 6 and is now available online. The collection features notes of caramel, pistachio, vanilla, and ginger, along with scent profiles like Amber Vanilla, Floral Peony, Fresh Bergamot, and Wood Oak.

Gomez asked Blanco what the scent made him feel beyond romantic nostalgia. His teasing response had her blushing: “I don’t think I’m allowed to say where it transports me to,” he joked, laughing.

The Couple Continues to Share Candid Moments

This isn’t the first time Blanco has spoken openly about his unique approach to scent and self-care.

In a November 2024 interview with People, he admitted he doesn’t “shower every day,” but prefers a mix of fragrances. “I want to smell [like] tobacco, but also like cotton candy. I want there to be an aroma as I’m walking by,” he said. “I want it to smell a little bit like man, a little bit feminine — I definitely lean a little more feminine in every sense.”

He echoed that sentiment during a joint interview with Gomez for “Interview” magazine. “OK, I might not get to shower every day, but when I do, when I feel like I deserve it, I’m in there for so long contemplating life,” he said. “I sit down in every shower I go into.”

Despite the differences in their routines, the couple continues to show just how in sync they are. In July, Blanco marked Gomez’s 33rd birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute, sharing a collection of candid photos and a loving caption: “Our life is a dream… so I’m never waking u up… happy birthday my love.”

Fans took to the comments to celebrate the couple, with one writing, “We love you, Benny. Thanks for loving her as much as she deserves,” and another adding, “May this type of love find me.”
