Paris Jackson confirmed her split from fiancé Justin Long a week after she was spotted crying in public last week in Malibu, California.

The only daughter of the King of Pop Michael Jackson has confirmed that she and music producer Justin Long have parted ways. Paris shared the news in a post on social network X (Twitter) on Thursday.

Paris wrote in her announcement: “It was tears of farewell.”

Paris and Long’s relationship seemed to be going very well earlier this month, when the 27-year-old model shared warm photos of the two together in an Instagram post – about her tour with Incubus and the Manchester Orchestra. In that share, the only daughter of the King of Pop said: “This summer has been such a great summer!”.

Paris and Long have been dating since 2022 and she confirmed their engagement in December 2024 by sharing a photo of his proposal on social media.

“The years with you have been a whirlwind beyond words, and I couldn’t have dreamed of anyone more perfect to go through it all with,” she wrote in the caption of the proposal photo – “Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”

A month after being proposed to, Paris celebrated five years of sobriety from alcohol and heroin.
