Taylor Swift, arguably Pennsylvania’s most-successful musician, is about to receive another accolade.

The Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame announced that Swift, a Berks County native, will be inducted to the Hall in 2027.

The official induction ceremony will be held at a date and location to be determined, the CPMHOF said.

Born in West Reading, Swift attended high school in Wyomissing before moving with her family to Nashville, where she launched her professional music career.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the CPMHOF focuses on youth music education. Therefore, to celebrate Swift’s upcoming induction, the Central Pennsylvania Youth All-Star Band released a cover of her smash hit “You Belong With Me.”

The song is now available on all streaming services and the music video is viewable on YouTube.

For the video, because Swift’s favorite number is 13, 13 girls sang vocals on the track, the CPMHOF said. Three teenagers played and recorded the guitar, bass, and drums. The video is chock full of easter eggs for fans to find.

The music video couples the induction announcement and serves as a recruiting effort to get Swift’s attention, the CPMHOF said.

“We can’t wait to celebrate Taylor’s induction,” said Brandon Valentine, Executive Director of the CPMHOF. “We hope that Swifties love and share this music video and that Taylor herself sees it!

“We look forward to inducting her into our local Hall of Fame in 2027. She truly ‘belongs with us’ back in Central PA.”

Previously, the Central Pennsylvania Youth All-Star Band has received acknowledgement from Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who for their music video of “Baba O’Riley,” which now has over 150k views on YouTube.

The CPMHOF will be celebrating Swift in advance of the 2027 induction ceremony with Swift-themed open mics, concerts, and even a compilation album.
