Rachel Uchitel is preparing to say “I do” once again, and this time, she believes she’s found her forever. The 50-year-old podcaster and television personality, best known for her past connection to golf legend Tiger Woods, is engaged to Palm Beach businessman Dan Donovan. After years of heartbreak and public scrutiny, Uchitel says she’s finally found peace, purpose, and the kind of love she once thought might never come her way.

After weathering her share of high-profile ups and downs, Rachel Uchitel says she’s entering this next chapter of her life. Speaking to the Daily Mail, the “Miss Understood with Rachel Uchitel” host revealed that she is engaged to entrepreneur Dan Donovan. She describes him as “a wonderful man” who’s both kind and accomplished. “He’s an alpha male without being a narcissist,” she said. “Even though I’m an alpha female, nothing feels better than having an alpha male take care of you.”
Uchitel and Donovan met on a dating app, but their relationship began as a friendship. “I had just been through years of it not working… so I had kind of given up,” she admitted. “We became friends and he got to know my daughter really well… And then I realized with time that I really adored him as a person.”
That friendship blossomed into romance. Earlier this year, Donovan proposed at the picturesque Rosewood Miramar in Santa Barbara during a sunset. Uchitel’s daughter, Wyatt Lily, even helped choose the stunning 10.5-carat diamond ring.
The bride-to-be recently celebrated her engagement with a lively Nashville bachelorette party hosted by friends Diana Khabbaz and Paige Davis. The country-themed weekend included luxury hotel stays, custom gift bags, and a cowgirl-inspired outfit featuring a “Mrs. D” hat.
Reflecting on her journey, Uchitel said she had to rebuild both her confidence and her reputation following years of public scandal. Her podcast, “Miss Understood,” which features candid interviews with controversial figures, has helped her reclaim her voice and credibility. “Not only am I an expert in the field that I’m talking about, but I’m doing really well as a podcaster,” she shared. “I feel very proud of the work that we do.”
