“There’s Definitely More”: Ella Langley Teases Future Collaborations With Miranda Lambert After ‘Choosin’ Texas’
It’s no secret that Ella Langley and Miranda Lambert arefrequent collaborators. Langley shares “Choosin’ Texas” was just the beginning.

Ella Langley and Miranda Lambert have a few tricks up their sleeve, especially after the success of “Choosin’ Texas”.
The two country stars have been pals since Langley was introduced to Lambert at the BMI Awards three years ago. According to her, they were introduced by their mutual friend, songwriter Natalie Hemby.
Since then, they’ve continued to solidify their friendship through performances and co-writes, as well as their shared loves of philanthropy and, of course, Texas. Many will remember Langley’s iconic ACM performance with Lambert, where she even cosplayed Miranda from her “Kerosene” days. I mean, how could you forget that, right?
In an interview with Elaina Smith, Langley revealed that “Choosin’ Texas” is only the second song she’s written with Miranda. However, it’s possible we’ll get more collaborations between them soon. “There’s definitely more,” she shared. “We’re definitely doing something really cool together that is more than just the songs.”
We’re not entirely sure what “something really cool” means, but if it includes another song from these two country superstars, we have no doubt it’ll be worth the wait.
How Long Has Ella Langley Been a Miranda Lambert Fan?
Langley explained what it’s like working with her idol, saying that sometimes she “forgets” that Miranda is well…Miranda. “She’s so cool and she’s so humble, and you kind of forget, and then you hear her like singing a line in the song and you’re like, ‘oh my God it’s Miranda,” Langley shared. “I’m getting to live out my dream every day. I mean, come on, you’re getting to write a song with Miranda,” she gushed, “It’s so cool.”
In a conversation with Big D and Bubba, the ACM winner shared how much getting to work with Miranda means. Apparently, Ella makes a vision board every year, and not too long ago, Miranda herself was on it.
At the ACM awards, the singer shared, “I had a big picture of Miranda Lambert on there two years ago, and it had a little book next to it about writing, and I got to write with her last year for the first time, and it was just really cool…I even showed it to her. I was like, ‘Don’t think I’m weird!’” She even admitted that getting to perform with Lambert that night felt like “a 12-year-old kid living her biggest dream ever on stage,” which tracks, since Langley grew up on Miranda’s music. She’s really not kidding when she says she gets to live out her dream every day.
