Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into a rehab facility, which was confirmed by her reps on Sunday, April 12th. The move comes just over a month after she was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in California.

However, despite reportedly being in treatment, the pop star has posted some unusual (and now deleted!) dancing videos on social media – something that has unsurprisingly left fans feeling increasingly concerned. Keep reading for more info…

Britney Spears Arrested For Driving Under The Influence

The “Womanizer” singer, 44, was reportedly arrested on March 4th after California Highway Patrol officers said she was driving her BMW “erratically at a high rate of speed” on a motorway. She reportedly “showed signs of impairment” and submitted to a series of field sobriety tests after being pulled over.

Afterwards, the mom-of-two’s representative told the BBC: “Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life.”

“Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time,” they continued. “Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being.”

The Woman in Me author’s rehab entry comes just weeks before she is due to appear in court in California to face the DUI charge.

Britney Spears Posts Dancing Video On Instagram On The Same Day She Enters Rehab

The “Toxic” hitmaker shared a since-deleted video of herself dancing erratically, similar to the concerning way she has been dancing on social media for years, on April 12th – the same day she reportedly entered rehab.

In the super-concerning dancing video, she is wearing a racy sheer black leotard with a seriously plunging front and side cutouts. The outfit is so risqué that she even had to add red heart emojis to preserve her modesty throughout the clip! The “Stronger” singer paired the sizzling piece with black knee-high heeled boots and a red hat for part of the video, while another section shows her with the hat removed and her hair left in a loose down do.

Some fans have wondered whether the post was simply scheduled in advance, while others have questioned whether she is taking rehab as seriously as she should. Either way, they didn’t hesitate to share their thoughts online…

Fans Show Concern On Social Media

“She checked in a few days ago but is still posting to IG. That’s not how rehab works…for ANYBODY,” observed one Reddit user, as a second speculated: “They could be scheduled posts.” “Not sure that I can find any reason to keep going without half naked crazy twerkin Britney videos to get me through my day…. worst news I’ve read this hour,” quipped a third, while others flooded Reddit with messages of support.

“Bless her, hope she can get some clean time and get her head straight. She could really do with some happiness,” wrote a fourth worried fan, as a fifth added: “Oh, Britney. Please get well and stay well.”

A sixth fan said they were “concerned” about her recent behavior, while a seventh concurred: “She knows she needs help. She has a pending DUI case open and she is taking charge! I was worried something bad would happen to her if she didn’t get help, but maybe this is a path forward finally!”

“I’m glad she’s seeking the support she deserves. I applaud her and wish her the best,” wrote an eighth, as a ninth echoed: “I’m so glad she’s seeking help. That’s what matters the most.”

Others admitted they weren’t surprised by the news. “Am I supposed to be surprised?” asked a tenth. “I’m totally not surprised!” agreed an eleventh, while a twelfth added: “Color me shocked. I hope she gets what she needs.”

A thirteenth concluded: “I truly hope that she can get the help that she so desperately needs! Unfortunately, I am not surprised that this has happened again. Fame is a horrible master.”
