Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced an uncomfortable moment during a Capitol Hill hearing.

On April 16, Fox News broadcast the livestream of Secretary Kennedy’s appearance in Washington, D.C. He gave testimony before Congress and highlighted his initiatives to transform the dietary habits of every American. However, he wasn’t prepared for a sharp rebuke from Representative Linda Sanchez of California during a tense exchange.

Sanchez, 57, criticized Kennedy, 72, for allocating taxpayer funds toward a shirtless milk advertisement featuring Detroit rocker Kid Rock. This comes after shocking details from a new biography about RFK Jr. revealed that he once mutilated a dead raccoon.

During her panel, Sanchez challenged at the microphone, “A health messaging campaign on the importance of vaccines could have stopped the surge of measles cases as it had in past outbreaks. But I was appalled to learn the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) suspended health messaging of vaccines last February. It ended a successful flu vaccine campaign as well.

“My question is: Did President Trump approve your decision to end CDC’s pro-vaccine public messaging campaign?” she inquired, reports Daily Express US.

Kennedy responded, “You got a lot of misinformation…” before being cut off.

Sanchez interjected and continued, “I am asking a question. I appreciate your response. You have other opportunities. I have limited time. Please answer my question!” She pressed: “Did President Trump approve your decision to end CDC’s pro-vaccine public messaging campaign? Answer my question, please, sir. I’m on a limited time.”

Kennedy responded, “We have done better…” before Sanchez interrupted, “That is not answering my question. I think you don’t want to answer my question. Because I think you know you are making terrible decisions that impact very real lives, especially the lives of children.”

She gestured emphatically and went on, “Now, one thing I find incredible is that you suspended this pro-vaccine messaging campaign but somehow you’re spending taxpayer dollars to drink, shirtless in a hot tub, with Kid Rock, and somehow you think that’s a better public health message than informing the public of the importance of vaccines?”

A booming voice interjected, “Your time has expired!” Behind Sanchez, someone displayed an enlarged photograph of Kid Rock and Kennedy, both topless, in a jacuzzi.

On February 17, the pair were seen sitting together inside an indoor hot tub, sipping from what looked like glasses of milk, while a “WHOLE MILK” graphic appeared on screen. The two were also topless as they worked out on a stationary bike in a sauna and played pickleball.

The caption read, “I’ve teamed up with @KidRock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD.”
