Bruce Springsteen slammed as ‘total loser’ by Trump, president urges fans to boycott concerts
The Boss, who is a vocal critic of the Trump adminsitration, said that his tour would be ‘political and very topical’
President Donald Trump probably won’t be listening to “Thunder Road” anytime soon.
Trump took aim at Bruce Springsteen on Thursday, calling on his supporters to boycott his “overpriced” new tour.
“Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS,” the president wrote in a Truth Social post.
He continued, “The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a President who won a Landslide Election, including the popular vote, all Seven Swing States, and 86% of the Counties across America.”

Trump further claimed that under former President Joe Biden and Democrats, “our Country was DEAD, and now we have the ‘hottest’ Country, by far, anywhere in the World. MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. AMERICA IS BACK!!!”
Springsteen launched his “Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour” last Monday in Minneapolis, promising it would be “political and very topical.”
The 76-year-old told the Minnesota Star Tribune that he was ready for political blowback on his tour.
“My job is very simple: I do what I want to do, I say what I want to say and then people get to say what they want to say about it,” the “Streets of Minneapolis” singer said. “Those are the rules of my game. That’s fine with me.”
Springsteen said he also wasn’t worried about losing fans.

“I’ve always had a feeling about the position we play culturally, and I’m still deeply committed to that idea of the band,” he said. “The blowback is just part of it. I’m ready for all that.”
Springsteen wrote “Streets of Minneapolis” in January after the two fatal ICE shootings of Americans Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
“The tour is going to be political and very topical about what’s going on in the country,” he said. “Minneapolis and St. Paul, that was the place I wanted to begin it, and I wanted to end it in Washington.”
Springsteen has faced a fan backlash over high prices for the tour.

“Unfortunately no one can afford to actually go…..,” one fan commented on his post earlier this month announcing the tour.
“It’s so sad for anyone that’s a huge fan of yours and wants so very badly to see you in concert @springsteen but just can’t afford these ticket prices !” another person added under his post. “Especially now when the economy is so bad. I thought that you if anyone would really understand what I’m saying because you yourself talk about making this world more affordable to live in.”
As promised, Springsteen got political in his Tuesday night concert.
“The America that I love, the America … that has been a beacon of hope and liberty around the world is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless and treasonous administration,” Springsteen said as the crowd cheered, according to Deadline.
