Kelsea Ballerini is making big moves professionally—not only is she at the top of her game in the country music scene, but she recently joined The Voice as a coach.

The “Cowboys Cry Too” songstress also happens to be dating one of the breakout stars of the Netflix series Outer BanksChase Stokes, who seemingly generates as much attention as Ballerini from fans.

That’s why Ballerini’s fans were delighted when a video of Stokes taking in one of her shows made the rounds on social media, as the actor wore a disguise, likely to detract attention from himself and allow all focus to be on his girlfriend.

In a video posted by TikTok user taytayy_12_, Stokes could be seen standing backstage as Ballerini crooned her 2024 single “Two Things.” Though Stokes has dark hair, he looked unrecognizable in the video, as he was wearing a long blond wig with a baseball cap.

As Stokes grooved and sang along to the song, he noticed that he was being recorded by a fan in the audience and placed his index finger up to his lip in a “shh” gesture as he smiled.

Fans found the interaction charming, jumping into the comments to proclaim, “This is so cute. He didn’t want any attention taken off of her 🥹 oh my heart.”

Another fan felt the same way, writing, “they are just the cutest. i love how he didn’t want the attn on him.”

Though Stokes seemingly asked fans in the crowd to help him stay incognito, they still cheered loudly, prompting TikTok commenters to laugh at the interaction. “The ‘shhh’ then starts screaming LOL,” wrote one fan.

Others joked that the wig was Ballerini’s, while some teased that he reminded them of Miley Cyrus’ Disney Channel character, Hannah Montana, who would wear a wig to disguise herself while in popstar mode.
