Michael Jackson’s Son Prince Jackson Engaged to Molly Schirmang After 8 Years of Dating

Prince Jackson is set to wed the lady in his life.

The eldest child of the late Michael Jackson announced that he and Molly Schirmang are engaged after eight years of dating, sharing the happy news on social media.

“Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories,” Prince, 28, wrote in a post on Instagram Aug. 26. “We’ve traveled the world, graduated and grown so much together. I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives as we continue to grow and make great memories. I love you babs.”

Alongside the message, Prince included a photo of himself and his new fiancée sharing a kiss as she rested her hand on his chest to display her engagement ring. He also shared several shots of himself and Molly on a hike, kayaking and at their graduation from Loyola Marymount University.

Notably, Prince’s post also featured a touching nod to his family legacy. He made sure to add a snap of himself and his bride-to-be seated on a bench with his grandmother Katherine Jackson, 95, outside of Hayvenhurst, the longtime Jackson family compound in Encino, Calif.

Although Prince has largely kept his romantic life out of the public eye over the years, he has spoken about preserving the memory of his late dad, who died in 2009.

“I have photos of him and the uncles inside my house,” Prince told E! News’ Francesca Amiker in 2022. “I have artistic paintings of him around my house.”

But perhaps more importantly, Prince continues to integrate the principles he learned from the King of Pop into his daily life.

“I like to lead my life with love, which is what he taught me,” he explained. “I try to help at least one person a day and I feel like that is a way of continuing his legacy.”
