Country Icon Slammed For Selling $100 Bibles Online: “Grift Never Stops”
Lee Greenwood appeared on “Fox & Friends” reminding everyone of his “God Bless The USA Bibles” which retail at a high price

Lee Greenwood has found himself in hot water with the US public. The country music star has long been a supporter of President Donald Trump. However, a rarely remembered fact is that Greenwood and Trump are sort of in business together.
Greenwood has been selling some very expensive Bibles on GodBlessTheUSA.com. And two of the upper-tier Bibles, in terms of pricing, come from the “Presidential Editions.” For $99.99, you can get a Bible with Trump’s name on it. For the same price, you can get the “First Lady Edition” with Melania Trump’s name. And if you’re a JD Vance fan, you can get one of those too, for the same price.
On Feb. 16, during an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” Greenwood reminded the viewers that those Bibles are still on sale.
“I wanted to make sure you understand that I have this Bible,” he said. “This is the God Bless the U.S.A. Bible, talking about my song, and this is something that everyone needs in their home. GodBlessUSABible.com, you can get one of these for Easter. Give it as a gift. I have one for all of you.”
Of course, that hasn’t gone down well. Trying to profit off the Bible, especially by defacing it with additional names, is never the right way to go about trying to make some extra bucks.
Fans Reacted to Lee Greenwood’s Sales Pitch on Social Media
Fans didn’t even wait for Greenwood’s segment on “Fox & Friends” to be over before they took to social media to share their frustrations.
“People profiting off the Bible, is the most Un-CHRISTIAN act anyone can do,” one user wrote on X.
Another user joked that we got some expensive Bibles before the long-anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto 6.
“The grift NEVER stops,” the user joked. “We got a Lee Greenwood BIBLE before GTA 6.”
There was also another user who sarcastically questioned whether a more expensive Bible would cement their place in Heaven.
“Will the purchase of the $60-$100 Bible be enough for me to get to heaven (or) will I have to read it as well?” that user wrote.
All-in-all, Greenwood’s appearance on “Fox & Friends” certainly didn’t go to plan. It would be surprising if the “God Bless The USA” bibles saw a noticeable increase in sales following his pitch.
