Kid Rock’s involvement in the United States political arena persisted, followed by allegations that he delivered remarks at the Pentagon.

However, the assertion, put forward by Tolou Capital Management founder Spencer Hakimian, appeared baseless. “JUST IN: Kid Rock addresses The Pentagon on the Strait of Hormuz,” he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

He included an image of the musician standing at a podium, seemingly speaking to members of the United States Armed Forces.

The photograph, however, seemed to be manipulated or AI-generated. Kid Rock swiftly refuted the supposed public appearance, dismissing it as fabricated. This follows Kid Rock’s recent ‘joy ride’ aboard an Apache helicopter.

“Fake News! I was actually addressing them on the state of your Mom and that she is still open for ‘business’ – Your welcome. Kid Rock,” he responded.

While Kid Rock didn’t speak at The Pentagon, Spencer’s jest was likely alluding to his recent connections to the nation’s defense apparatus, including a ‘joy ride’ with Department of War Pete Hegseth aboard Apache helicopters, reports the Express US.

On Monday, April 27, journalist Ryan Grim posted on X claiming the country star and Hegseth commandeered two Apache helicopters from Fort Belvoir in Fairfax County, V.A. Kid Rock allegedly arrived at the military installation that morning via his private jet, according to Grim’s Army sources and flight tracking data.

In his post on X, Grim wrote, “Scoop: Kid Rock flew to Fort Belvoir this morning on his private jet and took a little joy ride on 2 Apache helicopters with War Secretary Pete Hegseth, according to multiple Army sources, and backed up by flight data.

“Apaches typically have 2 pilots, but they went up with one so the boys could each ride shotgun, I’m told. Apache helicopters are not stationed at Ft. Belvoir, so it’s unclear where they came from. A spokesperson at the base referred questions to the secretary’s office.”

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell ultimately stepped up to defend the flights, asserting the episode was part of a “Freedom 250” community relations event.

“Robert ‘Kid Rock’ Ritchie participated in multiple troop touches with service members and filmed videos for Memorial Day, America’s 250th birthday, and for his Freedom 250 tour,” Parnell said in a statement to Military.com. “The visit provided an opportunity for Kid Rock to thank service members … and recognize their continued sacrifice.”

Earlier, on March 28, two military helicopters circled near Kid Rock’s Nashville home. As the aircraft swept overhead, Kid Rock was captured on video clapping and pumping his fist, captioning the footage: “This is a level of respect that s–t for brains Governor of California will never know. God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her.”

The U.S. Army has opened an investigation into the incident, but has provided minimal context about the helicopters’ movements.

Concerns have been raised that the flight path and altitude may have breached safety protocols. Army spokesman Maj Montrell Russell stated: “An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements. Appropriate action will be taken if any violations are found.”
