Kanye West is ‘jealous’ of Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend.

Rapper Kanye West is reportedly upset that his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, is dating his longtime friend, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

“Kanye is insanely jealous. This is making him very uncomfortable,” a source told the Daily Mail this week. “He always finds it hard to accept seeing his ex-wife with another man. It was like that with Pete Davidson, and now it’s the same with Lewis Hamilton.”

Rumors of a romantic relationship between Kim and Lewis surfaced earlier this month when the two were spotted at a hotel in England for a weekend getaway. The two stars later implicitly confirmed their relationship by sitting next to each other while watching the Super Bowl on February 8th at Levi’s Stadium (Santa Clara, California, USA).

According to the source, Kim and Lewis’s affectionate gestures at a major event like the Super Bowl – in front of a large audience and friends in the industry – made Kanye even more uncomfortable. This week, Kim also posted a video of herself having fun with her two sisters, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, in which Lewis’s voice briefly appeared. “That family used to belong to Ye, now Lewis is there, it’s hard to accept,” the source added.

However, the source said Kanye’s feelings were probably just temporary. The rapper is currently married to architect Bianca Censori and maintains a friendly relationship with Kim. On the Khloe In Wonderland podcast last month, Kim also shared that she and West are now getting along better after many disagreements related to raising their children.

Kanye and Lewis have known each other for many years. In 2014, they appeared together with their then-partners Kim Kardashian and singer Nicole Scherzinger at the GQ Man of the Year awards in London. In 2015, Kanye even invited Lewis to his family’s Easter celebration and revealed that the British race car driver had played music in his studio.

When Kanye performed the main act at the Glastonbury music festival, Lewis came to cheer him on and watched the show in the VIP section with Kim.

After Kim divorced Kanye in 2021, she and the Kardashian family maintained a close relationship with Lewis. The beauty and the seven-time world champion racer even posed for photos together at the 2021 Innovator Awards hosted by the Wall Street Journal.

Lewis has had several high-profile relationships, most notably his on-and-off relationship with singer Nicole Scherzinger from 2007 to 2015. More recently, he was rumored to be dating model Ashley Moore and singer Raye before his rumored romance with Kim.

Kim Kardashian finalized her divorce from Kanye West in November 2022, sharing custody of their four children. After the split, she dated comedian Pete Davidson for about 10 months, but this relationship was fraught with controversy due to Kanye’s jealousy. Since then, Kim has been more private about her personal life.
