Riley Green Reveals His Go-to Pickup Line—Inspired by His Dad

Riley Green revealed his secret to getting all the ladies by dropping his favorite pickup line, which actually comes from his father.

In a recent interview, rising country music star Riley Green revealed the pickup line he uses that helps him get girls. According to Green, his swagger doesn’t come from practice; it’s simply genetic. He owes a lot of it to his father, Dennis Palmer. Referencing his flirty duet with Ella Langley, “You Look Like You Love Me,” when it comes to pick-up lines, Green said the song is “difficult to quite top.”

He revealed to Much Music that his dad’s approach to picking up girls had actually been quite simple. “My dad would say, he would tell the girl she was so beautiful, he lost hearing in his left eye. I don’t know what that means, but it does sound awesome.” We’re not really sure what that means either, but Green probably knows how to make any pick-up line sound good.

Riley Green is On the Market, For Now

Riley Green is one of the biggest heartthrobs in country music right now, and it’s so evident that even Luke Bryan fans are picking up on it. At one of his concerts in July, Bryan made fun of his friend, telling the audience that he was going to “attempt to be Riley Green.”

The country music star followed this up by flexing a bicep and flipping his hair back, saying, “I get it, ladies, I would do him too. I would do him too.” Fans found this absolutely hilarious, and videos of the viral-worthy moment started circulating on social media.

As of right now, even though there are lots of ladies who would be willing to fill the spot, it doesn’t seem like Green is looking for a relationship. In fact, it doesn’t look like he’s looking for one anytime soon. With touring, being in the studio, and just overall living the dream, Green has admitted that he “barely has time to see his dog,” much less worry about another human being. Although fans have speculated that there might be something going on between him and Ella Langley, Green has even said of Ella that “she’s probably too smart” to date him.

Fans can see Green now on his Damn Country Music Tour, which runs until the end of November of this year, especially if they find themselves wanting to shoot their shot. Even though Green claims he’s trying to stay single, he’s still the guy who wrote “You Look Like You Love Me,” so honestly, you never know what could happen.
