A COUPLE have hit back at trolls who claim their relationship is just based on money.

He saw Bethany’s picture pop up on Facebook and was instantly smitten and added her as a friend.

After, he messaged Bethany and offered her £30 to get her number, and the pair began chatting from there.

Speaking to Love Don’t Judge, he said: “I didn’t really know what I had to offer other than money. So, that’s what I went with.

“I didn’t think she would talk to me unless I sent her money.”

For the first few years of their relationship, Bethany admits their relationship was transactional, he got her company, she got his cash.

Bethany added: “I think for the first 6 years of us talking to each other, we weren’t dating. We were both single. He catered to everything that I wanted and I needed.

“So like hairstyles, nails, things for school, stuff like that. He just made sure I was good.”

“Over the past 6 years, I’ve sent Bethany about (£75,000 ($100,000) in cash app transactions and gifts,” he explained.

At the start, Bethany admits she wasn’t particularly attracted to Jeremy, but when she realised he had a good personality, she decided to meet him in person and the pair haven’t left each other’s sides since.

“I was not always attracted to Jeremy,” she explained. “I think I was attracted to Jeremy for the wrong reasons. I was just blinded by the money.”

Jeremy says that although they are now in a romantic relationship, he still pays for everything, including Bethany’s bills and any gifts she wants.

Shopping trips are a common occurrence for the pair, with Bethany getting the latest Coach bag or trainers.

The pair say they often receive criticism online with people branding Bethany a ‘gold digger,’ and warning Jeremy not to trust her.

While she has admitted to liking to spend Jeremy’s money, she says she is now in love and Jeremy agrees, adding: “It was always something that I wanted to do for her.

“What I enjoy most about giving her gifts is just the happiness that I see when I when I give her something.”

“Now, it’s just love,” Bethany added. “He doesn’t have to buy me anything anymore. I don’t really care about that stuff.”

The video went viral on YouTube with over 11k views and people were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.

One person wrote: “His money makes him look incredibly handsome.”

Another commented: “She is lying ALLL the way around… She def is using him. He’s blinded by his love for her.”

“Once a richer man comes along, it’s finished,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “He’s in love, she’s in business.”

“I need to learn from her. And men can learn from him,” claimed a fifth.
