Charlie Kirk’s widowed wife, Erika Kirk, shared an emotional statement following Turning Point USA’s alternative Super Bowl halftime show, showing her support for Kid Rock.

During Bad Bunny’s revolutionary halftime performance at Super Bowl LX, a crowd of what appeared to be fewer than 200 people in an undisclosed location was treated to an alternative concert, The All-American Halftime Show, presented by the right-wing student organization Turning Point USA. Although Donald Trump made a scandalous confession about what he was watching.

Many believed that Bad Bunny shouldn’t have been picked to headline the NFL championship game because his songs are in his native Spanish language and due to his vocal opposition to Trump’s ICE policies. In a dig at the choice, Turning Point USA held its own alternative show, which included performances from Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. It comes as Kid Rock was caught ‘buying his own songs’ in a humiliating mishap.

Ahead of the concert, TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Colvet said it was “an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom.”

Erika, who is now the chairwoman and CEO of Turning Point USA, showered the performers in praise after the controversial show wrapped.

Taking to X, the 37-year-old wrote, “The @TPUS All-American Halftime Show was so incredible. Charlie would’ve absolutely loved it. Thank you to the millions that tuned in.”

She continued, “I’m so proud of our entire team, staff, and the artists who believed in the vision and mission @KidRock @brantleygilbert @leebrice @GabbyBarrett_. It’s okay to love Jesus and your country. Ultimately, this is what it’s all about: making Heaven crowded. …I love you Charlie baby, this is all for you.”

During Kid Rock’s performance, the 55-year-old artist kicked off with his rap hit “Bawitaba.” He then went on to share his own cover of Cody Johnson’s hit song ’Til You Can’t.

After Kid Rock’s show wrapped, he faced fierce backlash online, including from viewers and his fellow country stars. Chart-topping singer Zach Bryan continued his public feud with the singer as he mocked Kid Rock for his participation in the MAGA-backed event.

Taking to his Instagram story, Zach shared a video of a person watching the Turning Point halftime show on their phone while Bad Bunny’s performance played on a television in the background. The person held their hand up to try and stop themselves from watching Bad Bunny.

The 29-year-old singer captioned the post, “What Kid Rock actually thinks is happening across America.”

Country singer Kacey Musgraves also piled in as she took to X during the Super Bowl and wrote, “Well. That made me feel more proudly American than anything Kid Rock has ever done.”

It comes as Kid Rock was caught ‘buying his own songs’ in a humiliating mishap.
