Word has it, per TMZ, that rumors have already begun swirling. Some people evidently think that Swift paid another bride to change the date of her wedding at the exclusive Ocean House in Westerly, Rhode Island. This was supposedly so that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could nab that date themselves. Say it ain’t so, Taylor! A spokesperson for the luxurious Ocean State site has reportedly firmly squelched the story, per the outlet.

What Is the Issue With the Date?

Swift and Kelce evidently want to march down the aisle on June 13, 2026. However, another couple is supposedly booked for their nuptials on that very same day at Ocean House. A “report” claims that the “Shake It Off” singer paid the bride-to-be to change the date of her wedding. She and Kelce could allegedly then grab it.

The Story Is Allegedly Untrue

But the chatter seems to be erroneous, states TMZ. According to the outlet, “…Stephanie Leavitt, Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Ocean House, tells TMZ they would never allow one couple to buy another’s wedding date.”

Leavitt went on to say, “When clients and their families choose Ocean House as their wedding venue, it is an agreement and commitment between our team and that family. Ocean House would not and is not allowing another party or entity to buy a wedding group out of a contracted wedding date.”

Leavitt discreetly could not, according to the outlet, confirm which lovebirds, if any, are being wed at Ocean House on June 13 next year. She just said, “We appreciate the interest in our brides and grooms yet allow them to confirm their wedding location with who they choose.”
