Donald Trump’s return to become the President of the United States has pushed MAGA movement to scrap LGBTQ policies.

In the past year, the US political landscape has seen some division in the NFL community. On one hand were some that supported the Democratic party and their nominee Kamala Harris. Whereas MAGA slogan raising right wingers strongly supported Republican nominee Donald Trump.
The left supporting fans got some help in the form of Taylor Swift, whose public endorsement of Harris lit a fire. They believed all those endorsements would help citizens vote for the right candidate when time came.
But their support was not as brazen as the likes of Nick Bosa. The San Francisco 49ers star disregarded NFL’s conduct policies to don a MAGA hat after their game against the Dallas Cowboys. The NFL did launch an inquiry, but his stunt sent fans into a tizzy as his jerseys sold out fast.
All of that culminated into a majority win for Donald Trump. This meant MAGA supporting NFL folk were happy at the outcome. At the same time, the others were disappointed. Some tried to show their dissent towards Trump’s policies, but none were louder than former Minnesota Vikings kicker Chris Kluwe.
MAGA stands for trying to erase trans people from existence. MAGA stands for re-segregation and racism. MAGA is profoundly corrupt, unmistakably anti-democracy, and, most importantly, MAGA is explicitly a Nazi movement. You may have replaced a swastika with a red hat, but that is what it is.
Chris Kluwe
The retired place kicker said this while at a Huntington Beach City Council meeting. After his speech, he said he will commit ‘civil disobedience’ and walked toward the councilmembers. That is when police officers tackled him to the ground and handcuffed him. They then literally carried him out.
Chris Kluwe finally had the platform to out on Donald Trump’s MAGA movement against same s** marriage
After this protest and arrest, Chris Kluwe spent four hours in custody before being released as reporter by the Orange County Register. He has long held his favorable stance on same s** marriage while he was still playing in the NFL.

The now 43-year-old has long held the belief that the Minnesota Vikings released him due to that stance. At the time, he accused his special teams coach of making homophobic comments. He also revealed that his then head coach Leslie Frazier had asked him to stop commenting on same s** marriage.
Then in 2014, an investigation was launched by the Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice and the DOJ trial attorney into those allegations. Eventually, Kluwe and the Minnesota Vikings settled for an undisclosed donation to LGBT organizations.
This protest at the Huntington Beach City Council meeting was a culmination of what Chris Kluwe has believed in. Donald Trump as part of his MAGA movement has already signed some executive orders against the LGBT community. Kluwe with this protest was to bring those issues to light.
