Ruby Rose has vaulted Katy Perry’s name back into headlines—and not in a good way. Rose, 28, recently accused the 41-year-old pop star of sexual assaulting her in 2010, which has prompted social media users to go down a rabbit hole of all the inappropriate things Perry has done over the years. One video in particular from 2012 shows Katy Perry grabbing a then 18-year-old Justin Bieber’s backside. Keep reading for more information.

Viral Video Shows Katy Perry Grabbing Teenaged Justin Bieber

The video in question is believed to be from a 2012 appearance at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in London. In the clip, Katy Perry brings Justin Bieber in for a hug, but quickly drops her hand from his upper back to backside, which she then appears to squeeze.

All the while, she looks into the camera pointed at her and mouths, “Sorry Selena!” which is a nod to Selena Gomez, who Bieber was dating at the time. Perry was 28 at the time, a full 10 years older than Bieber.

Social Media Reactions

Across social media platforms, users are outraged at Perry’s behavior, and weren’t afraid to share their opinions, calling Perry “sick” and “disgusting” on apps like X and TikTok.

“She needs to learn consent and boundaries,” one person tweeted.

“Disgusting behavior,” another person wrote on TikTok. “Poor Justin has been through so much.”

“Katy is a sick sick person,” another agreed.

“Making these Ruby Rose claims a little more believable…” added the next user.

“I don’t understand why anyone feels like they can just touch celebrities like that,” wrote another. “You would think other celebrities would understand but no.”
