Julien’s auction house recently announced the auction of 800 dresses, shoes, jewelry, and accessories worn by the late singer Amy Winehouse at various events, raising over $4 million (over 92 billion VND).

The most sought-after and expensive dress at the auction was the one Amy Winehouse wore during her final performance in Belgrade, Serbia, part of her 2011 Summer Festival tour. Initially valued at just $15,000, the dress ultimately sold for $243,200.

Among other items sold was a red heart-shaped clutch that Amy Winehouse used at the 2007 Brit Awards, which sold for $204,800, nearly 15 times its original asking price.

Amy Winehouse was a famous British singer who passed away on July 23, 2011, at the age of 27. After 10 years, the sale of her belongings has raised $4 million. The proceeds from the auction and related activities will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. This foundation was established by the late singer’s parents with the aim of “inspiring children and young people to build self-esteem and resilience after addiction so they can thrive.”

Throughout her music career, Amy Winehouse achieved tremendous success when her song “Rehab” and album “Black to Black” earned her five prestigious Grammy Awards in 2008.
