THE BIGGER PICTURE
Amid speculation over De Bruyne’s future, Liverpool star Salah jokingly extended an invitation to the Belgian to join the Reds as a free agent ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. After the Cityzens’ FA Cup final loss against Crystal Palace, the 33-year-old had even hinted that he might opt to stay back in the Premier League.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Salah said: “I want to tell him congratulations for your career. He’s done a phenomenal job at City, and he was great for the league. I really wish him the best…and we have a space for him!”
