Mark Ronson brought his legendary status to the BRIT Awards 2026 tonight in Manchester after being awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Music award.

“Receiving this award means a great deal to me,” Ronson said upon receiving the award, before paying tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse, recalling his meeting with her 20 years ago “this week” and their collaboration on the song ‘Back to Black’ on the same day – something he said “changed his life forever.”

He continued: “The music I created with Amy is what made them know me, so I will cherish our voices, our talents, our relationship, everything.”

He then performed ‘Ooh Wee’ on stage with Ghostface Killah before once again paying tribute to Winehouse with a performance of ‘Back to Black’ – which opened with a clip of Winehouse talking about Ronson – and ‘Valerie’, with Winehouse’s band The Dap-Kings.

He then performed a cover of the hit song “Uptown Funk” with Bruno Mars, before Dua Lipa made a surprise appearance in “Dance the Night” from the Barbie soundtrack and “Electricity”. You can watch the video below.
