Rock the Country festival has made a significant lineup change, with Jelly Roll at the center of the shakeup.

The “Need a Favor” singer will no longer headline the Sioux Falls, South Dakota stop, with rock band Staind stepping in as his replacement.

Festival organizers made the switch in an effort to “help entice concert goers and boost flagging sales.”

Jelly Roll Dropped From Sioux Falls Lineup Amid Festival Shakeup

Despite the change, Jelly Roll remains scheduled to perform at other stops on the tour, including Bloomingdale, Georgia, and Ashland, Kentucky.

Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert and Jon Pardi have been added to the Ocala, Florida dates on August 28 and 29, strengthening an already stacked lineup that includes Blake Shelton, Brooks & Dunn, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Organizers have also slashed ticket prices for several “small town stops” in a bid to drive attendance.

“Hey you American Loving people! We have a few super important updates for you!” organizers wrote. “Fuel costs are up and we want to help! In response to rising transportation costs, you can enjoy up to 50% off general admission passes to any of 7 small town stops for a limited time only … Take advantage of this offer, fill up your tank and we’ll see you this summer!”

The festival kicks off May 1 in Bellville, Texas, and wraps up on September 12 in Hamburg, New York.

Fan Backlash Grows as Prices Drop and Lineup Continues to Shift

This isn’t the first shakeup for the tour. Morgan Wade, Carter Faith, Ludacris, and Shinedown have all dropped off since the original announcement.

Shinedown’s exit also led to the removal of the Anderson, South Carolina date, which had included Creed on the bill.

Now, with Jelly Roll stepping away from the Sioux Falls show and ticket prices dropping, some fans have voiced frustration online.

“What about the people who paid full price? Thats pretty s——-,” one fan wrote on Facebook.

“This is ridiculous,” another fan wrote. “I bought 7 tickets and 2 parking passes on the day presale started because it was advertised that it is the lowest price you would be able to get tickets.”

“If I bought the same 7 tickets and 2 parking passes today it would be $439.70 cheaper. I bought them early because you said that was the lowest price we would get and you lied.”

Jelly Roll remains busy elsewhere, continuing his run as support for Post Malone’s “The Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 w/ Post” throughout the summer.
