Chris Brown added giant statues to his 20th anniversary tour set. Most recently, fans shared videos on social media about how the artworks blocked stage views. Breezy wasted no time addressing the issues with his Bowl set! However, it seems like some social media users are giving the superstar the side-eye after he used the phrase “be humble” in his statement.
Breezy has been touring since June, first kicking off his ‘Breezy Bowl’ tour overseas. He’s just days into his U.S. dates, and videos of his set design have surfaced on social media. While fans are having a TIME with the nostalgic run, some clips show fans sitting behind statues that obstruct the entire stage view.
One woman claimed that she paid $500 for a seat, and her view of the stage was a screen at the bottom of the seating platform, behind the massive statue of Chris Brown.
Chris Brown Promises Set Design Adjustment, Social Media Reacts
Breezy took to his Instagram Stories on Friday (August 1) and said he’ll be “making certain changes” with the states obstructing views for some fans. Like the rest of the internet, Chris peeped the TikTok videos and social media commentary about the set design.
“Other than that, PLEASE BE HUMBLE. I got 1000000 percent for yall. So let me be clear and understanding. BECAUSE I WAS ABOUT TO TURN INTO BHRIS BROWN FOR A SEC…LOVE YALL AND CANT WAIT TO SEE ALL OF YOU.”
In The Shade Room’s comment section, the tea is how Chris Brown clocked his fans! Some are seeing the kiiii in his statement, while others are debating if he did too much. Either way, it looks like ticketholders don’t need to be shook! Chris said it’s taken care of! What will he do with the giant statues? TikTok will surely tell! In the meantime, here’s how the roommates were cuttin’ up in their reactions:
“That man said I love y’all TO DEATH, but I will curse y’all TF OUT!!!!!!😂Gotta love him 😭😭😭,” @ms_katie_baby commented.
“Not too much on chris , he said he heard yall , yall better cool it,” @sades_queendom wrote.
“Now I love you Breezy but you cant go Bhris Breezy on fams who cant even see the show. We know you go hard but the concerns are valid.❤️,” another IG user added.
“I thank God Beyoncé attended the Mathew Knowles School of Public Relations and knows how to take constructive criticism, apply it, and still interact with her fans without saying a single word,” @impactfululimari said.
@poohselfish cracked a jokey joke, writing, “Chris we love you but the Statue looks like Neyo.”
@jusgorjess said, “That shit better be in the parking lot come September 8th.”
@cocoakendi seemingly stood behind that “be humble” energy. She wrote, “When you purchase tickets, it usually tells you that your view will be obstructed. Buy better seats yall😭.”
“Please be humble? How you gon’ tell someone how to respond because they couldn’t see and wanted to complain,” @fanof_comedy wrote.
It’s worth noting that several comments amid nearly 3,000 claimed that ticket sellers did not give an obstruction warning. The Shade Room could not independently confirm those claims. Chris Brown also did not offer clarification on those allegations.
Another Message From Breezy Went Viral This Week
Unlike Friday’s message, Chris Brown recently went viral for a cryptic post. Fans quickly linked it to questions swirling around his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Earlier this year at Coachella, they were photographed seemingly exchanging friendly energy. It was the first interaction of its kind seen in years, and after the end of her restraining order against him.
Most recently, Karrueche appeared in footage Deion Sanders shared about his bladder removal surgery. She shed tears about the cancer diagnosis and surgery while at the hospital, but walked by his side, hand in hand, too. The interaction sparked dating rumors that neither of them has addressed.
After that footage surfaced, Breezy wrote on IG, “Lil sh*t still pisses me off to this day. Ima pray on it.”
That’s all it took for Tran’s name to be mentioned. He never clarified if his post was about the Karrueche-Deion speculations, and she’s still hush-hush, sharing vacation photos on social media!
