Kristin Cabot’s response to Coldplay‘s Chris Martin question has caught everyone’s attention. Recently, she was asked whether the singer “reached out to her” after the kiss cam controversy. Cabot mentioned that Martin never contacted her and that she would seemingly not attend any concert in the future.

For those unversed, Astronomer ex-CEO Andy Byron and the company’s ex-Chief People Officer Cabot were caught in an intimate position at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts on July 15, 2025. Byron was hugging her from behind while grooving to the live performance when they were captured in a kiss cam.

Kristin Cabot revealed that she would have appreciated it if Coldplay’s Chris Martin had checked on her. After the kiss cam controversy, Astronomer’s former head of human resources came under the spotlight last year. Recently, a TMZ reporter met her at an official event and asked, “Has Chris Martin ever reached out to you?”

Cabot didn’t take a second to think before saying a strong “No! Never did.” The reporter further asked if she would “appreciate it if he did?” To this, she immediately said, “Yup! That would be great.” Moreover, Cabot was asked whether she would attend a concert, specifically one by Coldplay. Cabot thought for a while and replied, “No, Coldplay or any concert…No, I am all set.”

Earlier, Cabot opened up about the event on Oprah Winfrey’s podcast. She revealed that her estranged husband was also present at the concert, but she didn’t think she would bump into him. However, it seemed the worse happened as she was caught on a kiss cam. Furthermore, Winfrey noted that Byron was “also separated or said he was separated from his wife.”

Following the viral kiss cam incident, Byron reportedly resigned as Astronomer’s CEO. Cabot, too, had stepped down from her role.
