Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla has shared a special memory from his days at Los Blancos, describing a moment that shows Cristiano Ronaldo’s human side, in addition to his greatness as a footballer.
In a recent interview, Casilla told a previously unknown story, which occurred during the preparatory phase in the United States, that left everyone present surprised.
“When we went to the United States for pre-season training, he bought the latest iPhone and Apple Watch for all the staff, including the physiotherapists and security guards,” says Casilla.

According to him, this gesture is a clear testament to Ronaldo’s character and his dedication to the people around him.
“He is a phenomenon, a superman, who helps even the last kid who has come out of the youth academy. Ask him for anything and he will give it,” added the former goalkeeper.
Kiko Casilla, born in Tarragona, has played for a number of clubs during his career such as Real Madrid, Espanyol, Cádiz, Cartagena, Leeds United, Elche and Getafe.
He has recorded 43 official appearances with Real Madrid and one match with the Spanish National Team. /Telegraph/
