Jack White has taken to Instagram to post a lengthy, satirical take-down of Donald Trump, after the President gave a White House briefing that aggrandised his administration’s achievements.
Trump gave the briefing on January 20th; in response, White posted a picture of the President with the ironic caption that used a caveman syntax to poke fun at his intelligence levels.

It began, “Me do accomplishments! Trump smart. Good boy deserve Nobel Peace Prize! Dementia? What is? NO! Trump smart, pass brain test, name giraffe.”
White’s post added, “Me President of Venezuela and Canada. Me want Greenland too for fun.” Here, he is calling out Trump’s ambitions to take over Greenland and Canada, after his move into Venezuela.
White added, “Mom said Trump could have been great baseball player but also big building with bars on windows. Building for very sick people. Trump not sick. Trump smart. MAGA. Very smart people made Trump President. Very smart people keep Trump President,” poking fun at the sychopantic nature of the people surrounding Trump.
White signed off, “Take nap now. Use fake, I mean real Peace Prizes for pillows. Trump accomplishment. Nighty night,” again referencing Trump’s joy at receiving Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado’s Nobel Peace Prize in a political move on her behalf to curry favour with the president.
Last August, White criticised Trump’s redecoration of the Oval Office, describing it as a “vulgar, gold leafed and gaudy, professional wrestler’s dressing room.”
White House communications director Steven Cheung wasn’t happy with this opinion and called White “a washed-up, has-been loser posting drivel on social media.”
The public argument continued, as White deemed Trump “a danger to not just America but the entire world,” and called him a “low-life fascist” and “an orange grifter.”
In December, White deemed Trump a “disgusting, vile, egomaniac, loser, child.”
White is not the only musician to have called out Trump as his administration continues to deliver controversial changes. Recently, Bruce Springsteen called for those attending his show to “send a message to this president” about the overwhelming and increasingly dangerous presence of ICE in Minneapolis.
Additionally, Neil Young wrote a scathing op-ed online that shared. In the piece, he said, “Today the USA is a disaster. Donald Trump is destroying America bit by bit with his staff of wannabes, people with no experience or talent, closet alcoholic wife beaters, inexperienced leaders who only know how to lie to keep favor with Trump’s falseness so they can hold their unearned positions in his inept government, a Congress full of Republicans acting like idiots with no conscience.”
