Elon Musk’s xAI attracts attention when announcing an internal meeting video, revealing the ambition to expand artificial intelligence infrastructure in the future.

xAI – an artificial intelligence company founded by Elon Musk, has just posted a full video of an internal meeting lasting about 45 minutes on the X platform. This rare move allows the public to monitor the development plans and operating strategies of the AI lab.

In the meeting, Elon Musk confirmed that the company is undergoing organizational restructuring, leading to the departure of many employees. He said this is common when a business grows rapidly. “When a company grows rapidly like xAI, the organizational structure must change. This unfortunately requires parting ways with some people,” Musk said.

According to the new model, xAI is divided into 4 main development groups. One group focuses on the Grok chatbot, including voice features. The second group is in charge of the programming system for the application. The third group develops the Imagine video creation tool (an artificial intelligence tool developed by xAI, used to create videos and images using AI). The other group is in charge of the Macrohard project, aimed at building an AI system that can simulate computer operations on a large scale.

Toby Pohlen – who is expected to lead the Macrohard project, said that the project’s goal is to develop AI that can perform complex tasks on computers, from simulating simple processes to advanced technology design.

The meeting also mentioned business results and service usage. A representative of X’s product division said that the platform has just exceeded the 1 billion USD annual periodic revenue milestone from subscription packages. The Imagine tool is said to be creating about 50 million videos per day and more than 6 billion images in 30 days, according to internal data.

At the end of the meeting, Musk continued to emphasize his ambition to develop an AI data center in space. He even mentioned the idea of building an AI satellite manufacturing system on the Moon to expand data processing capabilities and exploit larger energy sources in the future.
